#PitWeird

Hello? *echo* Helllloooo?! *blows dust off blog* Hel – *cough* – Hello?

Ah, someone’s there. Thank god. I was using the interewebs today and tripped over this odd looking relic known as my blog. I’d like to tell you what I’ve been up to but once you read things, you can’t unread them…also I don’t want what I have type here to be held against me in court, so let’s just say I was doing stuffs. K? K…

There’s a lot I have in my head and word docs that I want to push forth onto this blog but I’m not going to promise myself that I’ll post anything like a real blogger. I’ll start with one thing though, and that’s that I finally finished CAPTCHA. I felt strangely calm about this, I don’t know why, probably because I know they’ll still be editing to do. But what I’m super happy about is having free time to work on another story.

Anywho, let’s get onto the title of this post.

So I entered #pitmad for the fourth time and man has that thing got weird. I feel privileged to say I’ve been faved each time I’ve participated, but this time…yeah. I was getting faves from people who have absolutely nothing to do with #pitmad, and I’m not referring to those accidental faves (ANNA SOLIVERES LOL!) I’m talking about faves from a wood framing company or someone trying to sell something or the other.

This morning I woke up and checked the #pitmad feed to see who else was faved and there were more of those oddities. Now, I can only assume that those outside the writing world have clocked on that #pitmad is big enough to trend, and worse, that faving a pitch can seriously get them some attention. If this is the case, that’s really sad to hear. Sad and inconsiderate…
